Was it a pop-up bazaar, an exotic car show, a raffle night or an open house? It was all of these when Compass real estate agent Maya Blanton partnered with builder Randy Rau of Randy Rau Custom Homes to showcase his 8,237 square foot Houston area residence at 229 Mayerling Drive.
More than 100 luxury real estate honchos and prospective buyers joined this evening of sipping, strolling and shopping in the dwelling in the heart of Bunker Hill.
The duo enlisted Hanh Gallery, Lesley Ann Jewels, culinary author and designer Erin Hicks, Haute & Cool boutique, and Champagne Coconola to provide happy shopping moments while Indigo Auto Group, Lamborghini Houston, and Rolls-Royce North Houston each parked a set of to-die-for wheels in the drive. Further entertainment included the raffle with two guests taking home gift baskets compliments of Stewart Title, one guest winning the wine gift and another taking home a piece of artwork from Hanh Gallery. While guests perused the media room, the sunken wine grotto capable of storing 600 bottles of wine, the gourmet kitchen and more, Dy’Lan Ashton provided background music. Of course, there was wine and the opportunity to check out wine preferences on the new app, Wine4.Me, and sample the results.
The five-bedroom house is listed at $3,850,000 and includes a pool, summer kitchen with fireplace, five bedrooms, and an attached three-car garage.
